SBC Skateboard is Canada's premier and only independent magazine dedicated to skateboarding. Since 1998, SBC Skateboard has been the voice of skateboarding in our nation. A glossy magazine published five times a year, including our famous Photo Annual, SBC Skateboard is available by subscription, on newsstands and in skateboard shops from coast to coast. Expect over 200 pages per issue, printed on the highest quality paper stock around.

WHAT'S INSIDE: SBC Skateboard may be huge, but it's never dull. Between the pro interviews and contests, travel stories, news, humour, spot checks, park profiles, music reviews, band interviews and scene reports, we've got it covered. It's all punctuated by the best photography in the sport and showcased with award-winning design. We also have a talented roster of writers to compliment our high-quality photos. With a uniquely Canadian sense of humour, you'll be crapping your pants with laughter. Well, at the very least you'll be chuckling to yourself quietly.

HOMEGROWN TALENT: It's no secret Canadian skateboarders are the ones to watch. With more Canucks turning pro every year, SBC Skateboard has become a catalogue for young Canadian talent. Some of Canada's finest pros Ð Mark Appleyard, Paul Machnau, Ryan Smith and Pierre-Luc Gagnon Ð were first profiled in SBC Skateboard. As always, we'll be the first place you see the next generation of up-and-coming Canadian ams and future pros.

ACROSS THE GLOBE: What's the point of working at a magazine if you don't cash in on your travel budget? In each issue we profile riders from across Canada. That's why weÕre CanadaÕs national skateboard magazine. But that's not enough for us. SBC Skateboard brings you features from across the globe Ð Australia, Finland, Japan, Taiwan, Spain, and Peru to name a few Ð in hopes of informing our readers how skaters across the globe deal with the same problems every day, and maybe inspire some trips for footage during the dreary Canadian winters.
