Editorial Submissions for SBC Media Publications

SBC Media welcomes article proposals and photo submissions. Please consult the following guidelines before contacting us:

Photos
Photos may be submitted to any SBC Media publication at any time. Slides or negatives will be accepted (please include prints or a contact sheet with negatives). Contact an editor regarding usage of digital images prior to submission. All images must be labeled with the photographer’s name, the date, the location, the subject’s name, and the trick (if applicable). First-time contributors should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for photo returns. Photographers will be paid for published photos according to SBC Media’s terms, conditions, and payment rates. Photos will be returned at the editor’s discretion unless otherwise requested by the photographer.

Articles
Article proposals may be submitted to any SBC Media publication at any time. Include a thorough outline of the article, with full details on the purpose of the article and the subject matter. A brief writing sample from the proposed article is recommended, as are samples of other published articles for our editor’s reference. Completed articles will be considered on speculation, but SBC Media is under no obligation to publish any articles without an assignment letter from an SBC Media editor. Writers will be paid for published articles according to SBC Media’s terms, conditions, and payment rates.

Article proposals and photo submissions should be specific to each SBC Media magazine title. Article proposals can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed. Photos can be submitted via mail or courier.
